J Ez "Out Da Blue" Album Review

J Ez "Out Da Blue" Album Review

I was asked to review this album by my high school associate Damien. I must admit that I was nervous because I didn't know if I would like the music or not. But I must say, I honestly enjoyed this album.  I know people hate comparisons, but the album gave me a PartyNextDoor/Migos vibe.

The artist "J Ez" was born William Russell, hailing from Norfolk, Va. He's signed to Blue Bandit Ent. His music can be found on iTunes, Google Play, and Spotify. Find him at @jezsosmooth on Instagram.

I've put the songs into categories:

Club Anthems

All That - definitely a party song. The song hits on being careful while you flexin' cause people steady watching you!

Drug Hoes Money (f. Pizza Hands)- self explanatory lol

Sauce It Up- This is one of my favs on the album! This joint gets me hype and is def a club banger. The title explains it all. *hits dougie*

Feel Good Songs

Rush (f. Pizza Hand & Prahlem Sundiata) - This is hands down my faaaavorite song on the album. I added this joint to one of my playlist the first time I listened to it. The beat is lit. The song talks about giving a female your all. (Guess it's kind of a relationship song, too)

Aint Been the Same - this is another chill joint. It talks about how things change when people around you change, but in a positive way. It also talks about persevering despite things and ppl changing around you.

Rich N Famous - vibe out w/ your red solo cup! This joint talks about grinding to get money and fame! Obviouslyyyyy

For a Lifetime- Just a joint you nod your head to and vibe out..

First Place - this is a kute, chill song (another fav of mine). It talks about a female being hated on due to her status, style, and being in first place duhhhhh. Play this for your shawty while yall riding out, she'll like it lol. This was another one I had to add to my playlist.

Stuntin Joints

Broken Honest (f. Pizza Hands) - This joint is all about flexin and stuntin!

Overall, I enjoyed reviewing and listening to this album. Definitely check it out if you're looking for new artist to listen to. Let me know what you guys think!
